Leadership Development

Greater Boston’s talented workforce isn’t just a driving force of our economy. It’s our competitive advantage.

We help our members invest in that talent through comprehensive leadership development offerings designed to connect and grow strong leaders who lead both inside and out of the office. Our leadership development programs offer a unique blend of classroom and experiential learning that allows participants to:

  • Build meaningful, long-lasting connections
  • Learn from our region's most influential leaders
  • Think critically about key business, policy and civic issues facing Greater Boston

Women's Leadership Program

Designed to provide emerging female professionals the opportunity to enhance their leadership skills while building a professional network that will serve them and their organizations throughout their careers. We partner with Simmons School of Management to provide content specifically focused on the female professional.

Boston's Future Leaders Program

Provides rising leaders a platform to build the skills and connections they’ll need to contribute to Boston’s long term business and civic success. Through a partnership with Suffolk University’s Sawyer School of Business and Harvard Business School, participants gain exposure to established public, private and nonprofit leadership practices as well as the behind-the-scenes work that keeps Boston thriving.

Greater Boston Chamber Fellowship for Advanced Leaders

Built for senior-level leaders looking to refine advanced business management skills and strengthen their understanding of Greater Boston’s relationship with the global economy. We partner with expert faculty from MIT Sloan School of Management for a six month, tailored experience.

Leadership Forum

Each year, we convene current participants and alumni from all of our leadership programs for our annual Leadership Forum, which includes a unique networking experience, a candid and thought-provoking presentation from a nationally renowned leadership expert, followed by concurrent sessions led by renowned local leaders and professors. Our 2017 keynote speaker was Wayne Budd, Senior Counsel at Goodwin Procter LLP, and former Associate U.S. Attorney General.
